Dear Noel, I am ten years playing for my club. However, this season I am playing very poorly. I don’t know why this is happening. I have been mentioned regularly in the ‘played wells’ in match reports. Other stuff too. I won Junior Player of the Year once. I even got called up to the club senior panel for a few league games at the end of the season once. I’m afraid I might have become a bad player overnight. - Arthur (28)
Noel replies - I can put your mind at ease, Arthur. I can assure you that there is absolutely no way a footballer becomes a bad player overnight. In my experience, it takes at least three years to become a bad player.
