This week’s Kick up the Noel goes to Leitrim manager Dessie Dolan. I’m sure you read Dessie’s outrageous comments about Nickey Brennan. He took Nickey to task in most unparliamentary language over the decision to deprive Division Four teams of a second shot in the front door.

This week’s Kick up the Noel goes to Meath manager Colm Coyle. There’s no way Maurice Deegan was angling for a particular result last Saturday evening, Colm. Or, if he was, he was a very bad man at it, because any Laois man with an ounce of sense would be ten times happier facing Meath than that Wexford team. |

This Week's Kick Up The Noel Goes To Kieran McGeeney It was clear Kildare weren’t one bit serious about that game last Sunday. I could see it in them. They were smiling and joking beforehand. I saw two defenders high-fiving in the kickaround. |
